The Foster Care Council of Southwest Florida (FCC) started with one main program, Project Enrichment. The main focus is to provide enrichment activities (including clothing) to children under the supervision of the lead agency, Children's Network, and the two case management organizations, Family Preservation and Lutheran Services. Referrals are also received from Guardian Ad Litem and Citizens Foster Care Review Board. In addition, we have a close working relationship with the Department of Children and Families. This program has provided a wide range of items and activities for children.

Forms

In order to be granted assistance through Project Enrichment, the Children's Needs Request Form must be filled out completely by an authorized foster child representative and either faxed or mailed to the FCC. Once the request is received, office staff dates the application and assigns it to a Needs Committee volunteer.

Summer Camp

The deadline for summer camp requests is April 30, 2008. An authorized foster child representative needs to complete the Summer Camp Request Form and fax it to the FCC. The form must be filled out completely.
