Sponsorships for Summer Camp
Foster children age eight and older receive no state funding for summer camp. In the summer, many foster children are either left unsupervised all day while their caregivers work or at worst they are at home with caregivers that don't have the patience or parenting skills to keep them safe.
Summer camp is the best option to keep these children safe and from experiencing any additional abuse or neglect. Summer camp enables foster children to make new friends, go on field trips and open their eyes to new experiences.
